Awesome!

Just another blog. But this one’s good.

Twitterfeed set up May 23, 2009

Went to twitterfeed.com, set up the account. Blog will now be updated way more often.

I’m also sorry I’ve not been able to update since March, but such is life, I’m afraid. I take pride in knowing that most of my entries are, if not often, at least smacked with great content.7

I was originally going to move this blog to another domain, allowing ads here, in order to haul in some extra cash from it, but as it turns out, it’s not really necessary at the moment, and to be fair, ads can be a bit annoying anyways.

That being said, I’m not against moving later on, but for now, it’ll stay here. I’ll even throw in a major entry later today(depends on where in the world you’re located, I suppose), but I won’t say what it is just yet. The tags might be a bit more revealing though.

That is all.

Guitar Hero Wishlist and more January 15, 2009

I’ve recently started playing the latest iteration of Guitar Hero; namely World Tour.

Now, while I really much enjoy this over GHIII, because of the more modern set list, there’s always bound to be a wishlist, right? Now that Red Octane and Neversoft are offering downloads with awesome trackpacks, I think that the users should be able to make wishlists, send them to the developers, and let them deal with licensing and distributing.

So, without further adeu, here’s my wishlist, with some explanation as to why.

  1. 30 Seconds to Mars – From Yesterday — I like “The Kill”, but “from yesterday” also features great guitar, awesome drums, and a kick-ass vocal track, so it’s one of my wishes for sure!
  2. Linkin Park – Bleed it out/No More Sorrow/Given Up — Sure, they’re all from the latest LP Album, but at least they’re a bit more demanding in all aspects, compared to the too-damn-slow “What I’ve Done”.
  3. LostProphets – Make a move(Wake up)/Last Train Home — I do love “Rooftops”, but I want more LostProphets for my setlist.
  4. Dragonforce – Through the Fire and Flames — Come on, it’s the worst track ever to keep up with, vocal, guitar, bass and drum-wise, so it should be obligatory!
  5. Red Hot Chili Peppers – Around the world — A bit more complicated than the rest of the songs, with interesting riffs.
  6. Hoobastank – Crawling in the Dark — Yeah, it’s got cool riffs to rock out too, and it’s substantial enough for drums, bass and vocals too.
  7. Bon Jovi – You give love a bad name — Party tune no.1!
  8. Atreyu – Right Side of the Bed — pretty damn good, and for the occasional screamer, this tune will fit right in.
  9. Breaking Benjamin – Diary of Jane/So Cold —Both excellent, chilled tracks, with great vocals.
  10. Nine Inch Nails – Hurt —Sure, Johnny Cash covered it, but the original is that much better, and also fits better in with the “Tool” theme GHWT generally has written all over it.

That’s MY wishlist for now, at least. I’m sure I could go on forever, but I’ve listed like 14 tunes in there which I’d love to play, and downloading all of them in one TrackPack would be just as awesome as this blog. Do it NeverSoft, DO IT!!!!

btw, if you want to rock out with me, my PSN handle is “tomellingsen”. Add me as a friend, and I’ll play guitar or sing my soul out with ya anytime!
